Mission Statement: The Cleveland Psychological Association (CPA) supports the profession of psychology in our area. Our purpose is to support the professional interests of our membership, to advance the science and practice of psychology, and to advocate for the psychological health and wellbeing of all Clevelanders.
CPA Continuing Education Credits

- Finding Mentors: Early career psychologists and those seeking to change or gain specialties can seek out and work with experienced colleagues for help with professional and career development
- Referral Services: Residents of Greater Cleveland can contact CPA for referral information online or by phone. After receiving a referral request, CPA's Administrative Assistant contacts the Board of Trustees who then get in touch with the potential client to assist them in finding a referral. CPA's board considers professional experience, academic qualification, and the potential client's stated preferences before putting them in touch with an appropriate CPA member
- Networking: Opportunities for stimulating conversations with other local psychologists in a friendly setting
- Access to CPA's Website: CPA members are able to post approved classified ads, blogs, etc to the relevant areas of the CPA website
- Contact with Other Professional Organizations: CPA has lines of communication with regional organizations relevant to Greater Cleveland psychologists including the Ohio Psychological Association
- Community Outreach: We participate in a variety of community activities, including health fairs, school programs, and fund raising events for Mental Health issues, organized by our Committee for Social Justice.
