About Us

The Cleveland Psychological Association (CPA) is a professional, non-profit association working since 1975 to address the needs of individuals, families, and organizations in northeast Ohio.  CPA members are licensed psychologists committed to providing the highest quality assessment, therapy, and consultation services.

Mission Statement: The Cleveland Psychological Association (CPA) supports the profession of psychology in our area. Our purpose is to support the professional interests of our membership, to advance the science and practice of psychology, and to advocate for the psychological health and wellbeing of all Clevelanders.

Diversity Statement: The Cleveland Psychological Association (CPA), and its board, values and welcomes a diverse and inclusive membership. We recognize that people are constructed of intersecting social identities based on race/ethnicity, gender identity/sexual orientation, ability/disability, and other forms of diversity. CPA actively rejects racism, homophobia, ageism, or other forms of bigotry. We apply and adhere to policies and procedures that promote the freedom, equity, and dignity of all people.

  • Service: We hold dear our commitment to the service and support of others. This includes promoting the professional interests of our membership, providing information on our website, promoting meetings/trainings/seminars, and advocating for the health and wellbeing of all Clevelanders.
  • Work/Life Balance: We acknowledge the autonomy of our board members and members-at-large in that they hold multiple roles and responsibilities. We also promote the idea that we are interdependent and rely on each other to complete projects and initiatives. However, we make allowances and create space for reasonable deadlines and accommodations to promote a positive work/life balance.
